So there was a blizzard sunday night that gave us 2 feet of snow. That made them close the county schools for the entire week so winter break got started early. It's been an exciting week. Can't wait for Christmas and then leaving for Disneyland for vacation. It'll be exciting. :)

Overview of the last 3 days?

Wednesday: Finelines, band practice, voice, fencing.

Thursday: Finelines editor bonding/cookie making/charades/ridiculous adverb game, chorus concert.

Friday: Run over to Lauren's to give her gummy bears, back at school to set up and then COFFEEHOUSE.


Ruthie managed to pop a string 5 minutes before we were on so her brother had to do a quick save. We cut "Starlight" but "Supermassive Black Hole" was a huge success.


Plus I managed above a 50% on my chemistry test. 53%. Yay, enteligenz (intelligence). However, I still have an 87% in the class which is pretty promising.

Chorus rehearsal for the concert on thursday. No grades yet up from school so my happy mood is still there. :)


I wonder when we'll go caroling this year.

So today was a good day. A really good day. No tests, nothing went wrong. Gospel choir was enlifting. Barely any homework.

Phone interview for the internship over the summer went really well and they accepted me immediately. All that's left is choosing my business.

I hope my week continues being like this. I definitely prefer this over my usual groggy and cynical take on everything.


Here's the winter I dream of.

So I haven't used this site in about... 9 months. I might try to pick it back up maybe. Not really sure if I have the time for it though. We'll see.

I looked back today at my old posts and how much I've changed since then. It's amazing at the amount of things a person can go through in 9 months. So many things have changed. Old friends have been lost, and new have been gained. My hair is grown out and the bangs are no more. It's only one color - brown, back to natural. My main focus is school work and fencing. My social life has decreased by about 600%.

It's a good thing the holidays are coming up. I definitely need a break.

Only 11 days until Christmas. Yay.
